Welcome to Catholicism F.E.L.T. (Faith, Evangelization, Life & Theology), founded by Alvin Peña, an educator, musician, and devoted Catholic lay preacher of the Archdiocese of New York.
Alvin has served over twenty years as an evangelizing minister of La Nueva Alianza Ministry, a Spanish Catholic evangelization and prayer ministry serving under the Archdiocese of New York’s Hispanic Catholic Charismatic Center.
Through this ministry, he delivers talks, reflections, and sermons at retreats, vigils, and prayer groups within the Tri-State Area. His preaching ministry is prayerfully submissive and faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
Alvin Peña possesses a Master’s in Latino pastoral ministry and theology from Fordham University (summa cum laude, Phi Kappa Phi; class of 2015), and an undergraduate degree in psychology and music from Queens College and the Aaron Copland School of Music (cum laude; class of 1998).
He resides in New York together with his Roman Catholic family. He and his wife are the blessed parents of two beautiful children. They enjoy praying and attending Church together; relaxing excursions and strolls on beautiful, warm evenings; taking silly selfies and videos; spending time with relatives and friends; family game nights, and regularly eating creative homemade meals together as a family. . .
. . . May God bless you!
